XTEP Expands Running Footwear Range with New Flagship Technologies

XTEP has launched two new flagship running shoe technologies as part of its strategy to expand from professional racing into a wider range of running activities.

The company unveiled its latest products at the 2026 Full-Scenario Running New Product Launch Conference in Shanghai under the theme “RUN TO X.” The event brought together new product launches, athlete testing, academic evaluation and a running fashion show.

The main highlights were two new technologies: GT1200 top carbon racing technology and XTEP FLOAT zero-gravity cushioning technology. These technologies support XTEP’s latest range of running shoes, including the 160X8.0 Series Racing Running Shoes, Airflow Zero Series Shock-absorbing Running Shoes and 2000KM 5.5PRO racing running shoes.

The new product range is designed for different types of runners and activities, from professional racing and long-distance training to daily jogging and urban running. With this wider product range, XTEP aims to make advanced running technology available to both professional athletes and everyday runners.

XTEP has been developing professional running footwear for more than a decade. Its 160X series has been used by athletes who have broken Chinese marathon records four times in three years. The series has also recorded the highest wearing rate among runners in Chinese marathons for three consecutive years.

With its new dual flagship technology platform, XTEP is looking to move from being mainly known as a choice for professional runners to becoming a brand for runners at all levels. The company said its goal is to bring technologies tested in professional competitions to everyday running, offering runners performance-focused footwear for training, racing and daily activities.
