U-Power to Acquire KUBLER, Expanding European PPE Presence

European personal protective equipment (PPE) group U-Power is expanding its presence in the workwear market with the planned acquisition of German workwear specialist KUBLER.

U-Power signed binding agreements on August 21, 2026, to acquire 100% of Paul H. Kubler Bekleidungswerk GmbH & Co. KG. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary regulatory approvals.

The deal strengthens U-Power’s strategy to build a broader European PPE platform and expand beyond its core safety footwear business into a complete “head-to-toe” offering. The acquisition follows U-Power’s recent purchase of CERVA Group and further strengthens its position in Germany, Europe’s largest PPE market.

Based in Pluderhausen near Stuttgart, KUBLER has more than 70 years of experience in workwear, protective clothing and corporate wear. The company has a strong presence in German speaking markets and established relationships with specialist retailers and industrial customers.

U-Power, headquartered in Paruzzaro, Italy, is a major European safety footwear player, with the U-Power, Jallatte and Aimont brands. The group supplies more than 10,000 specialist retailers across over 50 countries.

The companies said the combination will create opportunities for supply chain and operational synergies, wider workwear offerings and cross selling through their respective European distribution networks.

KUBLER will continue operating under its existing brand, with its management team remaining in place. The companies aim to use their combined strengths to expand workwear, safety footwear and PPE offerings across Europe.
