Footwear manufacturer Aerowalk International (India) Private Limited showcased its latest product range and manufacturing capabilities at the India International Footwear Fair (IIFF) 2026. Speaking to Leather World News at the trade event, Kumar Rajiv Ranjan, the Company’s Vice President (Sales & marketing), shared details about the firm’s business operations, technological collaborations, distribution network, and market position.
Ranjan explained that AERO WALK International specialises in manufacturing polyurethane (PU) injection footwear fitted with both synthetic and leather uppers. The company’s manufacturing setup relies heavily on advanced Italian technology. Aerowalk International works in collaboration with Italian partners who supply cutting-edge machinery, specifically Italian-origin rotary machines. Pointing out the technical standards of their unit, Ranjan noted that the firm avoids using machinery imported from China, relying instead on precision engineering from Italy to maintain product quality.
Aerowalk International has been operating in the footwear manufacturing sector since 2013. Over the past thirteen years, the company has maintained steady year-on-year business growth and continues to expand its reach. Its distribution footprint covers the whole of India, while its export division serves international destinations including Europe and Gulf countries such as Dubai, shipped via Sri Lanka.
Addressing market focus, Ranjan stated that the business gives equal weight to both domestic Indian buyers and overseas trade partners. He stated that the firm does not hold any exclusive or special focus on the domestic market, opting instead for a balanced approach between local sales and global exports.
During the IIFF 2026 exhibition, Aerowalk International received a strong response from visiting buyers and industry trade delegates. Ranjan mentioned that visitor interest was particularly encouraging because the trade fair featured a smaller number of finished footwear stalls compared to suppliers dealing in shoe components, raw materials, and accessories. This gave finished footwear exhibitors greater visibility, with visitors showing keen interest in the products on display.
To cater to different consumer segments, Aerowalk International organises its products under a three-tier brand hierarchy. The basic product lineup is sold under the main brand Aeroblu. For middle-to-higher tier consumers, the company offers a premium collection branded as Puntoblu. The top tier of the range is offered under an ultra-premium brand labelled Puntoblu Cloud Blue.
Detailing the company’s retail strategy, Ranjan explained that Aerowalk operates through a multi-brand distribution framework rather than relying on a franchise model. The company actively conducts comprehensive market surveys to identify potential distributors across target regions before bringing them on board. To support its wholesale network, Aerowalk offers options for monopoly-based territories as well as multi-brand store distribution. Under this policy, distributors are not tied down by strict exclusivity contracts, allowing them the flexibility to stock and sell other brands alongside Aerowalk’s ranges.
