29th China Leather and Shoe Machinery Fair Begins Tomorrow With 600+ Exhibitors

The 29th China (Wenzhou) International Leather, Shoe Material & Shoe Machinery Fair will be held from August 20 to 22, 2026, at the Wenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in China. The three day event is expected to bring together manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, industry associations and technology providers from across the global leather and footwear supply chain.

Covering more than 50,000 square meters, the exhibition will feature over 600 domestic and international exhibitors and is expected to attract around 30,000 professional visitors. Eight exhibition halls will showcase products and technologies covering leather, shoe materials, footwear chemicals, accessories and hardware, synthetic leather, shoemaking machinery, sewing equipment, laser and cutting equipment, digital printing, 3D technologies and CAD/CAM systems.

The fair has also expanded its international reach, with professional buyers and industry delegations expected from countries including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and South Africa. Industry associations from South and Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa are also planning group visits.

The event will highlight Wenzhou’s position as one of China’s major footwear manufacturing centers and its ambition to strengthen its role as a global footwear supply-chain hub. The exhibition connects key production regions including Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Sichuan, while also providing opportunities for international buyers to meet Chinese manufacturers and explore new sourcing partnerships.

Alongside the exhibition, several industry events will be organized, including the 2026 China Shoe Capital Industry Belt AI & Going Global Forum, the Wenzhou “Lisa Cup” Footwear Vocational Skills Competition, and a special forum on AI-driven smart manufacturing. An international procurement matching meeting will also provide opportunities for direct business discussions.

The fair aims to promote digitalization, intelligent manufacturing, international cooperation and sustainable development across the global leather and footwear industry.
