Softideia, a tech company from Felgueiras, has introduced PRODiGI, a new artificial intelligence (AI) powered digital platform designed to help businesses manage their operations more efficiently.
The platform was unveiled at an event in Felgueiras attended by more than 100 footwear industry business owners, production managers, and technical professionals.
According to Softideia, PRODiGI was developed entirely with the help of artificial intelligence from design to programming making it one of Portugal's most advanced Industry 5.0 business management solutions.
The company said the response to the launch was highly positive, with several companies requesting to install and test the platform shortly after the event.
PRODiGI brings together a range of business tools on a single platform, including email, task management, customer relationship management (CRM), corporate WhatsApp, marketing campaigns, and an AI assistant.
The platform is also integrated with SoftGI, Softideia's ERP and manufacturing execution system (MES), which is used by more than 500 footwear companies. This allows business data to be synchronized in real time.
During the demonstration, Softideia showed how AI can automatically create marketing campaigns, generating both text and images within seconds from a simple user prompt.
The company also introduced SoftGI Web, a browser-based version of its ERP system, along with several new AI powered features. These include natural language data analysis, AI generated product images from technical specifications, and intelligent production planning that can automatically adjust machines, shifts, workforce, and raw materials based on changing production needs.
Additional features include automated document processing and an AI assistant that helps users work more efficiently within the platform.
Softideia said the launch of PRODiGI reflects its continued focus on innovation and the use of artificial intelligence to improve industrial management. The company aims to help manufacturers adapt to changing business needs while strengthening its position as a leading software provider for the footwear industry.
