Lineapelle 2025 generates renewed optimism in the global leather Industry

The 105th edition of Lineapelle, held from 25th to 27th February, 2025 at Fiera Milano-Rho, brought in renewed optimism for the global leather industry.  As a leading trade show for leather, accessories, components, fabrics, synthetics, and models across footwear, leather goods, apparel, and furniture, the event witnessed a significant surge in participation, signalling a strong recovery and renewed industry enthusiasm.

A key driver of this positive sentiment was the rise in visitor numbers. The event welcomed 24,977 attendees, marking a 7 per cent increase from the previous September's edition, which recorded 23,800 visitors. This growth reaffirms Lineapelle’s relevance as a crucial platform for business and industry networking. The fact that 18,833 out of the total attendees were buyers, underscored the event's strong commercial focus. With a high concentration of professionals seeking new partnerships and procurement opportunities, the fair reaffirmed its role as a key driver of business in the sector.

The exhibition floor was equally vibrant, featuring over 1,100 exhibitors who showcased the latest innovations and trends in leather and related industries. Their diverse offerings provided attendees with a comprehensive market overview, further enriching the event experience.

Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle, expressed her satisfaction with the event’s success, particularly applauding the strong turnout and the increasing international participation. She noted the particularly responsive engagement from Asian and Middle Eastern markets, underlining the fair’s growing global reach.
