Bata Group’s CEO Panos Mytaros concluded an extensive global tour in the first quarter of 2026, visiting key markets across Asia, Europe, and Latin America to align global strategy with local operations. The tour covered Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and the Czech Republic.

In Bangladesh, Mytaros met with the Prime Minister to discuss long-term investment and industrial growth, while in India, he engaged with students at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) to discuss the evolution of retail design. The visits focused on strengthening Bata's presence in emerging markets, with particular emphasis on Indonesia’s role as a primary production hub and the high-growth potential observed in the Bolivian market.

The tour also marked a significant milestone in Prague, where Mytaros visited the company’s flagship store, housed in a landmark building for over a century, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the brand founded by Tomáš Baťa.

Company officials stated that the "on-the-ground" approach is central to Bata’s "One Team" strategy, ensuring that global vision remains grounded in local consumer realities. The visits underscored the group’s commitment to maintaining its heritage while driving modern operational efficiencies across its diverse international footprint.
